Cooperation with the Sophie Library

The "Sophie Digital Library" and the "Alice-Salomon-Archives" have been cooperating since the year 2003.
The "Sophie Digital Library" is an online library with works written in German by women between 1740 and 1927. Alice Salomon is one of the authors included in this library. Her texts can be found in the Journalism and Literature sections.

A.Salomon's texts have been selected from the edition Alice Salomon, Frauenemanzipation und soziale Verantwortung. Ausgewählte Schriften in drei Bänden (1997-2004).
The "Sophie Digital Library" is a project which is being realized by students of German studies at Brigham Young University under the guidance of lecturers. Its purpose is to provide students, in particular, access to the works of women authors written in German which would otherwise be difficult to obtain.
The project is sponsored by the dEPaRTMeNT of GeRmAN + SLAVIC LaNgUAGeS at Brigham Young University in Utah /USA.
